Persia’s Got Talent

First to air is the first season of Persia’s Got Talent, a family entertainment show based on the Fremantle format ”Got Talent” and commissioned by MBC, Dubai, the largest TV network in the Middle East. Auditions were held across Europe and the US/Canada during the fall of 2019 targeting talents with a Persian cultural background and the first program was aired globally on January 31st, 2020. Finals are shot in Stockholm this autumn, October/November, 2020. This is the first time an internationally recognized entertainment program is available to Persian talents and viewers worldwide. 

Every Persian TV network outside Iran has always followed the same traditional format for the Persian New Year program, Nowruz. The MBC Nowruz special has revived an outdated format and created a new standard for this special event inviting the audience to participate in the celebration with their favorite artists.

Integrating AI analysis and social network big data metrics, from the start, into the script and production of media content; going well beyond interactivity during and data collection after the content is viewed, attracts active participation of audiences where traditional TV viewers are passive. The total effort, yielding a new level of excitement, as well as the information and database about the audience far richer than normal programs, belong to a new genre we call NetCentric programming. We are in the process of launching several innovative projects.
